I grew up baking, cookies primarily. I (still) have the Tollhouse recipe memorized, though those gluteny pieces of cookie heaven are now totally off limits. Don’t worry, I’m not cookie-less. I upgraded to Babycakes, and I still have this super awesome #gf peanut butter cookie recipe from the WFM.

However, as I’ve expanded my culinary talents and learned how to do more than boil water and bake brownies, I have learned that cooking, unlike baking, (and life actually) doesn’t have to be so exact. There’s something really liberating about starting a recipe with a “little bit of this, little bit of that” mentality.

So, here is my general guac recipe with no exact measurements, zilch.

Approx 4 avocados

3/4 of a tomato

Juice from half a lemon

Salt ‘n Pepper

Cumin
