I’ve decided that I want to participate in Danielle LaPorte’s weekly-ish burning questions exercise. It goes a little something like this. Daneille posts a question and each week she invites her readers who have blogs to answer that same question.

This week’s question is what would you like to stop doing?

Some of my favorite snippets from her answer include:

“I would like to stop thinking that THAT pair of shoes will change the course of my life.”

“I would like to stop thinking that if So-and-So gets over it, THEN I’ll get over too.”

MINE ARE:

I would like to stop worrying about what’s going to happen and embrace what IS happening.

I would like to quit holding grudges against people. In all instances.

I would to stop coming up with lame excuses about why I don’t have enough time to meditate.

I would like to stop pretending the reason that I haven’t been submitting freelance writing has to do with poor time management. Nope. It has more to do with me getting real freaked out about people not liking my writing. Wham.

P.S. This burning question thing’s for real. I’ve even got it in my sidebar to prove it.
