I found a box in storage this weekend that had all of my old journals in it (SCORE!) I’ve been religious about saving quotes, paragraphs, words and inspiring poems for years. But sometimes I feel like I’m grasping at straws trying to pinpoint where all those quotes live–attempting to figure out how many books they are spread across.

Here’s one I’ve always liked:

“My stomach finally stopped hurting the morning after my first date with the man who would become my husband. I woke up at seven kicking my feet under the covers, a little scissor-kick dance, a dance of lightness and ease.”
