I watched “Alice in Wonderland” last night, and I fell in love with this dress. I love the red and black. The lace. The sash. The hearts. The stripes. And all of this comes together to make the once somewhat meek Alice look quite empowered.

And besides the dress..

I love all the life lessons built into “Alice in Wonderland.” It has playful metaphors and advice for the trickier decisions we have to navigate. I enjoyed watching Alice come into her own because she was able to reconnect with the confidence and “knowing” she had as a little girl .

Who we were as children was inspired, smart and intuitive. Sometimes passing into adulthood robs us of our best perspectives.

A few quotes I liked-

The Mad Hatter: [to Alice] You used to be much more…”muchier.” You’ve lost your muchness.

Alice Kingsley: This is impossible.

The Mad Hatter: Only if you believe it is.

Alice Kingsley: I try to believe in as many as six impossible things before breakfast. Count them, Alice. One, there are drinks that make you shrink. Two, there are foods that make you grow. Three, animals can talk. Four, cats can disappear. Five, there is a place called Underland. Six, I can slay the Jabberwocky.
